A straight Spanish
daughter of Congo Rojo and her dam was my 25 year old *Rastano
daughter that died last April orphaning Jadore at 7 weeks. Jadore
suffered a neck injury last January when wild dogs ran her
into the pipe fencing. She won't be steady enough to be
ridden but will make a great breeding mare. When she's
running out in the pasture with the other horses, most of
the time you can't even tell anything is wrong. When she's
walking towards you, her head will sway a little from side
to side as she walks.
Quarter horse mare was
abused by her previous owner and was confiscated along with
a half dozen other mares. When I got her, she was just
bones. She doesn't trust people but has bonded to me
because I'm very easy with her. She warms up real quick
when you take the time to groom her - she loves it!
Due to arthritis,
she's on a joint supplement and an anti-inflammatory in her
feed once a day. She has been a great baby sitter and even
lactated! I do not have registration papers on her since
she was confiscated from an abusive owner. My main concern
is finding a home for her where she can get the proper care
she deserves.
