Walnut Crest Farms is a small, family-owned facility located one hour east of Dallas. Owner Sharon Whitaker has had a life long passion for the Arabian horse and now focuses on the breeding of fine Classical Spanish Arabians. As a Spanish breeder, Sharon is very dedicated to the preservation of the genetic prepotency of the Spanish Arabian gene pool and firmly believes in improving and maintaining the purity of the Spanish Arabian. The Spanish prepotency is evidenced in today's show ring in both halter and performance by many well known International, National and Scottsdale Champions and Top Ten winners.

Definitions (as defined by the Spanish Arabian Horse Society):

Classical Spanish: Horses who trace their lineage 100% to horses who were in the Spanish Stud Book prior to 1970.

Spanish Bred: Horses who have at least 25% Classical Spanish blood in their pedigree.

Spanish Related: Horses who have any line to a Classical Spanish horse.
